DUTERTE – A photo of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his partner, Honeylet Avanceña, went viral on social media.

The Philippines is currently facing a lot of problems with the COVID-19 pandemic as the biggest. Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) is recording at least 3,000 cases of coronavirus daily.

The total COVID-19 cases in the country has jumped to 164,474 in just a few days. The death toll is at 2,681 while 112,759 have already recovered from the disease.

The country is still under community quarantine measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. Also, the wearing of a face mask and social distancing became protocols now.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, there are rumors that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte flew abroad. It was put down by Senator Bong Go through a photo of the Chief Executive with his partner, Honeylet Avanceña, in Davao City.

Senator Go posted three (3) photos. One of it shows Honeylet holding a newspaper with a headline that six (6) officials of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) are set to go on leave. It was just recently when the officers decided to take a leave amid the corruption issues.

In his caption, Senator Bong Go stressed that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is in the Philippines and ready to serve the Filipinos. The Chief Executive’s photo with Honeylet Avanceña and the Senator went viral on social media.

Currently, the post has already reached 10,000 shares on Facebook. According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the President is in a “perpetual isolation” now.
