And currently, a trend online are BL series which are usually shown digitally. This theme is still a bit controversial but then, people have already accepted and tolerated this culture.

To recall, he’s been out of sight both in television and social media which is why the signing of new management contract with the Viva Artists Agency (VAA) is a new chapter for him. This is after his contract with the Star Magic of ABS-CBN has expired.

After for almost three years of not working, he expressed in a previous article that he is now ready to work again. Moreover, in a report from Push, he also expressed that doing mature and sexy roles is something that his mother doubts if he can achieve it. As for him, he has passion for stories and his craft and if he sees that it would be required to do it for a masterpiece, he will gladly do so.

His reason, “I mean, it’s just another role, another character that I’m portraying . It doesn’t reflect naman kung ano yung hilig ko sa buhay. I’m just doing my job as an artist, to portray a role of somebody else. So, oo naman po, I am willing. Huwag lang siguro na ganun kabulgar agad-agad. Maybe we can work towards that, pero comfortable naman po ako.”
