PAGASA – Signal No. 1 Over Parts Of Luzon, Tropical Depression Ferdie To Exit PAR
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that Signal No. 1 is hoisted over parts of Luzon while Ferdie is expected to leave the country.
The Sunday 11 PM bulletin from the state weather bureau says that Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 were hoisted over parts of Luzon while the low-pressure area intensified into Tropical Depression Ferdie.

- Western portion of Ilocos Sur

- Santiago
- Burgos
- Lidlidda
- San Esteban
- Santa Maria
- Narvacan
- Nagbukel
- Santa
- Caoayan
- Vigan City
- Santa Catalina
- San Vicente
- San Ildefonso
- Bantay
- Sinait
- San Juan
- Magsingal
- Santo Domingo
- Cabugao
- La Union
- Western portion of Pangasinan
- San Fabian

The bureau said that these areas are going to expect winds of 30 to 60 kilometers per hour in about 36 hours or intermittent rains within 36 hours.
Based on the report, Tropical Depression Ferdie was last seen at 225 kilometers northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan or 180 kilometers West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
The weather disturbance is moving north northeastward at 20 kilometers per hour.
Ferdie is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Monday evening.
Meanwhile, the bureau is observing Tropical Storm Jangmi, which was last seen at about 950 kilometers north northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.
Jangmi is packed with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 105 kilometers per hour. It is moving north northward at 35 kilometers per hour.
