PAGASA Releases Latest Updates About Tropical Depression Enteng

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Enteng would bring inclement weather condition over parts of the country.

On Saturday (August 8, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. Tropical Depression Enteng would affect the country’s current weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure spotted east of Aurora province has developed into a Tropical Depression Enteng. The weather disturbance is also strengthening the southwest monsoon or locally known as Habagat.

Tropical Depression Enteng

Enteng has maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 55 kph moving 10 kph at a north direction. Enteng was last spotted at 510 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora.

The southwest monsoon strengthened by Enteng would bring rains over Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro Provinces, Romblon, and Northern Palawan. Occasional rains are expected over Pangasinan, the rest of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of MIMAROPA, and the rest of Visayas.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain showers over the rest of Luzon and Mindanao.

Tropical Depression Enteng

The weather agency said that the tropical depression is expected to intensify into a tropical storm on Sunday morning (August 9, 2020) and expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday afternoon.
