Beauty queen Catriona Gray demands public apology and Php 10 million from the tabloid regarding her fake photo.

CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray demands a public apology and Php 10 million from Bulgar over fake malicious photo of her.

In a previous article, there was a controversial “nude” photo of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray circulating online. But this she refuted and claimed that the photos are fake. Reportedly, the photos of her was captured where she got nothing on her top.

“We are actively coordinating with authorities to hold accountable whoever is behind this scheme and face penal sanctions accordingly. We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of said photo,” a part of the statement of her legal counsel stated.

She decided to formally file a complaint last July to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against the uploader of the fake photo. And now, following taking legal action, she revealed that the tabloid Bulgar was the tabloid who uploaded it. She then demanded a public apology from them and Php 10 million for the damages.

This controversy regarding her fake photo has done some tainting to her reputation. As per her lawyer, the “malicious, defamatory, and libelous” content from the said tabloid has done “immeasurable damage” to the beauty queen.

According to a report from PEP, the controversial post has a caption that said: “After ng bantang pasabog ni Clint… NUDE PHOTOS NI CATRIONA, KALAT NA! OMG!!! Basahin ang detalye sa INSIDER ni Melba Llanera bukas, Linggo. Bili na ng Bulgar para lagi kang updated!!”

Along with this are Catriona’s photos in a bath tub and a blurred one where she is seemingly not wearing anything for her top. In there demand letter, it has indicated, “Thus, as a result of Mesdames Navida and Llanera and Mr. John Doe’s patent and offensive acts, demand is being made in the amount of ten million (10,000,000) pesos for the damage caused upon our client. In addition, a public apology directly addressed to Ms. Gray is likewise enjoined.”
