This was confirmed by an official from the Department of Transportation, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.

Transportation Assistant Secretary Eymard Eje said that the positive cases were transferred to the quarantine facility.

Meanwhile, the 70 LSI were placed in an isolation area inside the stadium after being exposed to the said positive cases, Eje added. They were scheduled to be taken to other facilities.

Last weekend, several were worried when they saw that LSIs were crammed inside the said station, where they were set to be taken back to their home provinces via the Hatid Tulong program.

Hatid Tulong program lead convenor Joseph Encabo admitted that implementing physical distancing inside the stadium was difficult but they eventually took care of it.

Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año said that there are about 2,000 LSIs who are still inside the Rizal stadium.

4,793 LSI were now taken back to their home provinces, Año added, based on the report.

Meanwhile, the LSIs who were not yet accepted by the local government of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan to be taken to their destinations, were transferred to a national housing project site by the National Housing Authority.
