Ely Buendia Drops New Single “Plunder My Heart W/ Cheats
ELY BUENDIA – OPM legend Ely Buendia just released his new single “Plunder My Heart” with indie rock band Cheats.
Eleandre Basiño Buendia or better known as Ely Buendia is one of the famous musicians in the Philippines. He is the lead vocalist and songwriter of the popular Pinoy rock band Eraserheads.
The 49-year-old musician is one of the most respected OPM icons in the country. His compositions topped various music charts and gained massive commercial success.
Ely Buendia is currently the frontman of the band Apartel. He recently thanked his fans for their continued support for OPM amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Based on a report from Inquirer, Ely Buendia recently dropped a new song. He collaborated with Saab Magalona’s seven-piece indie rock band ‘Cheats.’ Their latest song titled “Plunder My Heart” runs for almost 6 minutes. It released on various audio streaming platforms on July 24.
According to the report, “Plunder My Heart” is the second collaboration between the OPM legend and Cheats. Their first song collab “Grizzly Pool” was released last year.
In Cheats, lead vocalist Saab Magalona was joined by her husband Jim Bacarro on vocals and keyboard, Candy Gamos on vocals, Manny Tanglao on bass, Jason Caballa and Kyle Quismundo on guitars and Enzo Hermosa on drums.
