Enrique Gil shared that he is ready to open his heart again
Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil finally opened up about his past with his ex-girlfriend, actress Liza Soberano.
Liza has confirmed her and Enrique’s breakup. This came after years of speculation about the real score between them. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of veteran journalist Karen Davila.
The actor was asked if he still has communication with his ex-girlfriend. Enrique said that they would talk once in a while.
“I would say that we were not that in touch, but we were in touch, still, at times,” the Kapamilya actor shared, adding that this happens, especially when important things happen in their lives.
“Maybe just to, you know, check on each other, but yeah, I mean, my life is here, and her life is there,” he said. The actor also said that he wishes for Liza’s success and for her dreams to come true.
“I wish her all the best of course, and I really hope everything works out for her there and all her dreams will come true. And yeah, I’m happy for whatever is going on for her right now,” Enrique shared.
He also agreed with what Liza said, that they had a beautiful relationship and that their love for each other is still there. The actor also stressed that respect will always be there between them, and for him, it is because they basically grew up together.
When asked how he would describe Liza in his life, the actor said that the actress was his childhood sweetheart. He also said that they had great memories.
Then, the actor was asked if he was ready to open his heart to a new relationship. “Yeah, you know, I think, I’ve just been so closed out for such a long time, and yeah, I always keep my heart hoping,” he said.
Enrique Gil said that he had to move forward, and he shared that he has been talking to people.
The actor has been linked to social media personality Andrea Brown. They were spotted together just recently. In a past interview, Enrique denied the rumor linking him to Andrea.
