President Duterte To Deliver SONA In Chamber Separate From Lawmakers

DUTERTE SONA 2020 – President Duterte is expected to have his fifth SONA in a chamber separate from lawmakers and guests.

According to PhilStar, Nograles said that the president will be adressing the nation from the same podium.

However, for the safety of all Congress members and House employees, the chamber where he will make his SONA will not be occupied with legislators, officials and dignitaries, who usually attends the event.

Nograles also said that the importance of the said speech will not change, although he pointed out that most people will notice some changes.

“Such a report is more important now, more than ever, as the government works to a chart a safe course for our country as it navigates through unfamiliar and uncertain times
