Kapa Headquarters Ranscked By ‘Investors’ After Joel Apolinario’s Arrest
KAPA – On Wednesday, the headquarters of Kapa Community Ministry International Inc. was ransacked by alleged investors after the arrest of its founder Pastor Joel Apolinario.
The founder of Kapa Community Ministry International Inc., Pastor Joel A. Apolinario, was accused of masterminding one of the country’s biggest investment scams. In 2019, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) conducted simultaneous raids on his offices.
NBI Sarangani district office chief lawyer Regner Peneza said they will arrest Apolinario even without an arrest warrant. “The President had laid down the predicate – (that Apolinario) was committing a continuing offense and under that concept, a warrantless arrest could be effected,” he said.
Last year, Joel Apolinario revealed the reason why he refused to surrender. He said he doubted his safety if he appears in public. He promised that he will surrender to the cops if the members of his ministry asked him to.
