Retired Policeman’s Family To Sue NCRPO Chief Sinas

RETIRED POLICEMAN’S FAMILY TO SUE – Recently, a family was harassed by dozens of policemen headed by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas.

Sinas ordered his men to dismantle the barricade of the delos Santos Family and forced their way inside. Upon entering, they intimidated the residents of the home and claimed the property was owned by the police.

However, Arles delos Santos showed a copy of documents to prove that they legally had a right to occupy the property. But, instead of complying with the legal document, Sinas shouted at the family and ordered them to leave.

According to an article from Inquirer, delos Santos tried to take photographs and videos of the incident but a police officer took his phone. Additionally, the same officer tried to punch him when he tried to take back the documents.

Luckily, the CCTV footage captured the entirety of the incident and was shown on social media. The clip immediately went viral prompting a response from Sinas.

Because of this, the delos Santos Family said that they were planning to file cases of trespassing, harassment, threats, and grave misconduct against Sinas.

As per the article, Sinas claimed that the property the delos Santos family lived on was part of the NCRPO-Regional Direct Support Unity (RDSU) compound. However, Sinas failed to present any legal documents to verify claiming the property for the police.
