House member Mike Defensor claps back to death threat on young daughter.
MIKE DEFENSOR – Anakalusugan party list’s Mike Defensor has this response to someone who expressed death threat to his young daughter.
Online bashing, as time goes by, gets worsen as the attacks of people hiding behind the keyboard becomes more personal and sometimes, drags people and even children who are innocent. And just recently, Anakalusugan Rep. Mike Defensor encountered the same thing.
He posted a praying video of his daughter who is just 4 years old and in the comment section, someone posted a threat to the young child. The foul comment says, “Patayin ko anak mo gago.”
It didn’t suit well to the lawmaker who voted to junk the franchise renewal application of ABS-CBN which cause over 11,000 employees to lose their job in this time of pandemic. In a Twitter post, he clapped back to it and indicated that he can accept people become critical of him but posting a dangerous threat to his young daughter is something that’s unacceptable to him.
In his post, he said, “You can criticize me and even curse me and I can take it.But when you threaten to kill my 4 yr old child Juliana you have gone beyond the limit.”
He added that he will not stop looking for the person displayed such alarming comment to his young daughter and here are some comments from his post:
It sends out a very clear message…pati bata dinadamay. Ibang klaseng pag iisip meron sila.
This shouldn’t just pass by. This is a serious threat to Mike’s family.
That’s foul and unfair. Limit the criticisms to the issues alone please. There’s no reason why the attacks should be personal.
