Jane de Leon Talking About Angel Locsin?
JANE DE LEON TALKING ABOUT ANGEL? – The new Darna, Jane de Leon, finally shared her thoughts on the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
Following the franchise denial of the Kapamilya network, several lawmakers, citizens, rights groups, and employees spoke up about the shutdown. One of the most vocal was the previous Darna, Angel Locsin.
Following in her steps was the new Darna, Jane de Leon. In a social media post, the actress said:
We can show our support in many ways. Let us not be judgment and imposing on what others should do according to personal standards and beliefs.Tuloy po ang buhay at tuloy din po ang suporta natin sa pinagdadaanan ng ating network at mga kapwa natin Kapamilya
Much like many of the employees of ABS-CBN, Jane admitted that she was hurt following the shut down of the network. She explained that the network became a second home for her, one that gave her so much opportunities.
However, she noted that right now, the country is still faced with an invisible enemy – COVID-19. Jane de Leon expressed that there is still at risk and the health of our loved ones were at stake.

Additionally, the actress mentioned how the hospitals in the Philippines were nearing full capacity. As such, she added:
“Let’s not forget that our Frontliners continue to face life and death situations as they are being challenged in saving more lives… Dadagdag paba tayo sa lumolobong bilang at patuloy na pagtaas ng COVID cases sa ating Bansa?”.
She added:
“Masama pa bang maging positibo lang sa ating pananaw sa kabila ng kahirapan at paghihinagpis?”
