Netizens Called Janno Gibbs “Plastic” for Comment on Post of Regine Velasquez
JANNO GIBBS – The actor-singer reacted to a netizen calling him “plastic” for his comment on fellow singer Regine Velasquez’s social media post.
The denial of the franchise bid of ABS-CBN is one of the most talked-about topics lately. Seventy (70) lawmakers voted to deny the network of a fresh 25-year franchise so it can operate again.
Only eleven (11) favored the side of ABS-CBN network. Undeniably, more than ten (10) thousand employees of the network are now at risk of losing their jobs.
The ABS-CBN has recently released a statement confirming its employee retrenchment. The network is set to stop some businesses and lay off some of their workers starting August 31.

A lot of celebrities have spoken and defended ABS-CBN amid the all the issues thrown at the network. Many were hopeful that it will be given a new franchise to be back on air.
Not only the Kapamilya celebrities were hopeful but many artists from other networks also expressed their support. One of them is actor-singer Janno Gibbs.
Janno is close to Kapamilya singer couple Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. On Instagram, the Asia’s Songbird posted a photo of her with a caption stating that she is proud to be a Kapamilya.
Janno Gibbs left a comment containing emojis of praying hands and a heart on Regine Velasquez’s post. However, a netizen reacted to it and called him “plastic”.
To the said “plastic” comment, Janno Gibbs reacted and called the netizen “tanga” or dumb. The said Instagram user hit back at the singer saying he is the one who is dumb and accusing him of having no projects because he is plastic. Here are the Instagram exchanges of the singer and the netizen:
