Police Investigate Live-In Partners’ Death in Negros Occidental

LIVE-IN PARTNERS – A couple was shot in the province of Negros Occidental and the suspect is the older brother of the boyfriend.

Daily, several unfortunate incidents are happening in the different areas in the Philippines. There are incidents that really took lives and are hard to grasp why it had to happen.

It is no secret to the public that were a lot of recent incidents involving people who lost their lives following an unexpected attack. Most of the time, the suspects are aboard a vehicle and were unidentified.

However, those are not only case. There are also unusual and unexpected ones like cases involving family members themselves.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, live-in partners were shot and the suspect is the very own brother of the boyfriend. The incident took place at Sitio Buli, Barangay Riza.

The police identified the victim as Joselito Mahinay Hisman. According to the report, the initial investigation showed that the brothers quarreled over the money they got from selling mangoes.

San Carlos City Police Major Mark Angelo Junco said that the suspect was possibly not able to hold his temper against the victim. Suspectedly, he shot his younger brother.

Maricel Lumayno Alastra, the girlfriend of Joselito was also shot. The live-in partners did not survive the incident and since they’re living in a far-flung area, it was already late when their neighbors found out about what happened to them.

Currently, the investigation is still ongoing. The authorities are still looking for the suspect in the incident.
