TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan Delay Wedding Due to COVID-19 Pandemic
TJ MONTERDE – The singer broke his silence on pushing back his wedding with his fellow singer fiancee, KZ Tandingan.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected a lot of things including plans and dreams. Many people cannot push through what they have planned for this year to happen as the situation now is really far from what we had in 2019.
The whole Philippines is still under a community quarantine and the classes in schools have yet to open yet. Social gatherings are still prohibited and the threat of the virus is still around as proven by the new COVID-19 cases daily.
One of those that will not be pushed through this year is the wedding of singer couple TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan. It was last December 2019 when the celebrity couple got engaged.

Speaking to PUSH, TJ revealed that as early as January, he and KZ already started planning for their wedding. He rated the planning to 70% already crediting his fiancee as the “planner” in their wedding.
According to the singer, they have already talked with the wedding facilitator and everyone they have to talk with for the event. According to him, only 30% is lacking and then they are on for the execution.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic took place. TJ Monterde revealed that he and KZ Tandingan decided to push back their wedding next year. Based on the article, he stressed that flights and the venue are still unavailable now.
Meanwhile, TJ and KZ are considering getting legally wed this year aside from the big event set for next year. Aside from their wedding, they also pushed back the release of some of their songs which they wanted to be launched on their wedding day.
During the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), TJ and KZ lived apart. It made them realize that they are also capable of a long distance relationship as they were initially hesitant about it. Meanwhile, they can now see each other under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
