Kim Chiu Gives 1,500 Relief Kits To Families, Donates P300K For Mass Testing
KIM CHIU – ‘Love Thy Woman’ actress Kim Chiu distributed 1,500 relief kits to families and donated PHP 300,000 for mass testing.
Last month, Kapamilya singer, actress, and vlogger Kim Chiu made rounds on social media after her viral “Bawal Lumabas” statement. She got carried away while defending her tv network ABS-CBN. Lots of people said her classroom analogy was incomprehensible.
Countless Filipino netizens made fun of her viral statement. Some even called her “bobo.” Kim tried to take things positively with the help of her family, fellow celebrities, and fans.
Aside from that, to shut down the negativity more, she launched her “Bawal Lumabas” merch. The proceeds of her t-shirt line will go to the families in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She also promised that some of the earnings will be donated to Angel Locsin’s initiative “Shop & Share.”
On Tuesday, June 30, Kim Chiu shared photos of the relief kits she prepared for 1,500 families on her Facebook Page. She also said she has donated P300,000 for the mass testing in the country. She also thanked all the people who supported her “Bawal Lumabas” merch.
“Thank you po sa lahat ng sumupporta sa #bawallumabasmerch we were able to give sa 1,500 families and 300 thousand pesos for mass testing c/o shop and share!… maraming maraming salamat! Journey was like a roller coaster ride but Im glad it ended this way,” she wrote.
