Coco Martin is getting ready to resume taping for Ang Probinsyano
Kapamilya actor Coco Martin was spotted inspecting the shoot location of his primetime TV series Ang Probinsyano.
Due to the lockdown as a measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, the entertainment industry had to stop shootings and airing live shows with live audience.
For the meantime, TV networks, aside from their live news programs, had to air their past shows. As the situation is slowly getting back to normal, the entertainment industry had to adapt also with the “new normal”.
Shootings are already allowed but they should observe the “lock-in” setup. Cast members will be housed in a certain location for a certain period of time while taping their scenes. Health measures are also being observed.
Coco Martin, as the lead actor/director of Ang Probinsyano started the initial steps for the preparation for their lock-in taping. Based on the article from Bandera, the Kapamilya actor, including actor-director John Prats, and some staff members of the TV series inspected their shoot location.
The lock-in taping will take place in hacienda owned by Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste in Lipa. Reportedly, the cast members and the production team will stay there for several weeks.
However, this is not the only challenged that FPJAP is facing right now, as well as other programs of the Kapamilya network. Amid the health crisis in the Philippines, ABS-CBN had to go over another hurdle when the National Telecommunications Commission released as cease and desist order against it.
Based on a previous report, during the House hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise on Monday, June 29, NTC committed to stopping the operation of TV Plus and Channel 43.
