Jobert Sucaldito appeared before the Congress during the ABS-CBN franchise hearing on Monday

Entertainment reporter/radio host Jobert Sucaldito trends on Twitter after he addressed the Congress during the ABS-CBN franchise hearing on his issue with Nadine Lustre.

To recall, Jobert was suspended indefinitely on his program on DZMM. It was due to his statement against the Kapamilya actress in order to defend his fellow entertainment reporter Ricky Lo.

JaDine supporters, the fan base of Nadine with James Reid, criticized Jobert for allegedly promoting self-harm when he said that the actress should have jumped off a building.

On June 29, during the House hearing on ABS-CBN hearing, Jobert Sucaldito was one of the invited persons to speak before the Congress. The reporter explained his side. According to him, even though he admits what he said was wrong but he can’t call that as a promotion of self-harm.

He also said that he was given a document in which it was stated that his contract will be suspended. Without signing it, he consulted his lawyer and he filed an illegal dismissal case against ABS-CBN.

Jobert also questioned the “Kapamilya” network why he was treated like that. Based on the Twitter post of the House of Representative, the reporter said, “Nalulungkot ako lalo everytime I would hear Sir Carlo Katigbak saying that they are concerned about the people who will lose jobs kasi kawawa naman sila, walang makain. But what about us?”

He also said that he is against the shutdown but plead that people inside the network should not use their influence for their own gain. In line with this, JaDine fans once again bashed Jobert Sucaldito. Here are some of the comments against the reporter on Twitter.
