Drug Suspect In Antipolo City Arrested On Thursday Evening

DRUG SUSPECT IN ANTIPOLO CITY – A drug bust in Antipolo City, Rizal on Thursday evening ended up with the arrest of one drug suspect.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the drug suspect John Lennon Tadena, aged 23, according to SunStar.

Tadena was arrested in a joint operation by operatives from the PDEA and Philippine National Police at around 9 PM. The arrest was made in front of a convenience store along NHA Avenue, Bagong Nayon II in Barangay San Isidro.

Recovered from Tadena was suspected shabu which weighs at about one kilogram with an estimated street value of P6.8 million, three sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves and three sachets of suspected dangerous drugs.

Based on the report, the suspect will be charged for violating Section 5, which is sale of dangerous drugs, and Section 11 or possession of dangerous drugs, of the Republic Act 9165 or the The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
