Malacañang Palace Declares June 25, 2020 as Special Non-Working Day

SPECIAL HOLIDAY – Malacañang Palace declares June 25, 2020 (Thursday) as a special non-working day in this area.

The Palace declared June 25, 2020 as a special non-working day in the Municipality of Bagulin, Province of La Union. The town of Bagulin will mark the celebration of its founding anniversary.

The declaration of the special non-working days is based on Proclamation No. 967. President Rodrigo Duterte. Authorized Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea to sign the proclamation.

The holiday declaration aims to give the people of Bagulin the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. However, the people must observe the celebration with precautionary measures.

The occasion is subject to community quarantine, physical distancing measures, and other public health guidelines.

Bagulin is a fifth class municipality in the province of La Union with 13,456 people based on the 2015 census. The municipality is generally forested and mountainous and it is politically subdivided into 10 barangays including:
