Filipino Artist Draw Main Characters of Avengers Using Metallic Sharpie

AVENGERS – A Pinoy artist named drew the main characters of the Avengers using a metallic sharpie.

The latest ‘Avengers’ installment is currently the highest-grossing film of all time. It passed James Cameron’s ‘Avatar.’

The characters were created by Marvel co-founder Stan Lee. Millions of people from different parts of the world are obsessed with the characters of the movie. On the first screening of the movie, Filipino fans lined up before the mall’s opening hours.

Avengers caught the attention of the people because of its great storyline, characters, and graphics. Among the Hollywood actors who starred in the movie include Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson.

Until now, there are still lots of people who are still obsessing over Avengers. Recently, a Filipino artist Jeric Concepcion caught the attention of the netizens after he created stunning portraits of Marvel superheroes using a sharpie marker and his smartphone.

Based on a report from Esquire, Jeric Concepcion is planning to complete the 32 characters including Thanos. He shared that he decided to start painting using sharpie markers when he couldn’t go out to buy art supplies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“While cleaning my work room, I found a set of gel pens that was given to me a few years back by Janis McGeehan. I also found old illustration boards that have some sketches on it…”

“The black side was empty, so I started experimenting on negative space drawing, meaning you draw the highlights first,” he said.
