Heart Evangelista shared this post for Miriam Defensor-Santiago
Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista commemorated the birthday of the late lawyer-politician Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
Heart previously shared with the public the closeness that she has with the prominent political personality. The actress said that Santiago was the one who organized her life when it comes to contracts and legal matters.
“She sketched my life for me,” the Kapuso star shared in a previous interview. Heart also expressed gratitude to the late Senator for placing her life in a better place.
Aside from the said aspect in the life of Heart Evangelist, Miriam Defensor-Santiago also became a matchmaker. The latter was the bridge between the actress and her husband Chiz Escudero.

On Monday, to commemorate the late Senator’s birthday, the actress shared this post on her Instagram account. “My mentor, my angel, and my second mother. Happy Birthday! (heart emoji),” she wrote.

Meanwhile, in a previous report, Heart Evangelista received bashing for sharing her “new normal” outfit. Apparently, the basher said that the actress is not using her platform to influence others in certain issues in society. According to Heart, that bashing caused her so much sadness.
Despite that criticism, the wife of Chiz Escudero still continues to do her charitable endeavors. Just recently, she sold her painting in order to provide 550 tablets for deserving students in preparation for the online classes.
