Catriona Gray Unveils Teaser Of ‘Raise Your Flag’
CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray decided to record her own rendition of the inspirational song “Raise Your Flag.”
During the Miss Universe 2018 pageant’s Top 15 question and answer, Filipina-Australian beauty queen Catriona Gray was asked “If you were to write a song about your experience here in Miss Universe, what would you call it?”
Cat said she would call it “Raise Your Flag.” She explained that she has always felt the love and support of her countrymen.
Catriona Gray’s “Raise Your Flag” slogan eventually turned into a song. It was composed by Jonathan Manalo.
The beauty queen first heard the song during her Miss Universe 2018 Homecoming Special on the Kapamilya network. Rappler Kritiko and KZ Tandingan were the original performers of the inspirational song.

Recently, Catriona Gray decided to record her own rendition of the song under Star Music. She made the announcement on her Instagram account on Friday, June 12.
In the caption of the post, she said: “It feels like I’m coming full circle. This song was birthed from representing and making my country proud in Miss Universe. Now, with it releasing during a time such as this, I feel like the message is still one that needs to be heard, but now it applies to all of us, in raising our voice and raising our flag for not just our country…but for what we stand for. #RaiseYourFlag soon!”
The beauty queen turned singer also unveil the teaser of the song. The video has garnered 163 thousand views as of this writing.
