Policeman In Parañaque City Killed By Riding-In-Tandem
PARAÑAQUE CITY – A policeman was recently shot to death by a riding-in-tantem on Tuesday at Barangay San Martin De Porres, Parañaque City.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night at the East Service Road in the said .location, according to an article from ABS-CBN News.
The victim was identified as Police Corporal Michael Banaag. Banaag was shot to death by suspects who were riding-in-tandem.
Witneses reported that they heard a series of gunfire from the said suspects who were an board their motorcycle.
Banaag was assigned to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion of the National Capital Region Police Office for about two weeks. He was a former anti-drug operative from the Manila Police District.
Based on the report, local city chief of police Col. Robin King Sarmiento said that Banaag was about to head home when the incident occurred. The police are currently conducting further investigation to determine the motive of the crome.
