Former actress Annabelle Rama has this reaction over issues of ABS-CBN Franchise renewal.
ANNABELLE RAMA – Former actress and now talent manager Annabelle Rama has this posts about the issues regarding ABS-CBN franchise.
Last Monday, June 8, was the second appearance of ABS-CBN chairman emeritus Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III in the Congressional hearing over franchise renewal of the network to which one of the issues is his citizenship. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), a month ago, has released cease and desist order which caused its immediate shut down.
Now, in the recent hearing, talent manager Annabelle Rama just echoed the complains of many people regarding the questions which was clarified but was asked by Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta again and again. He even asked the chairman to recite the “Panatang Makabayan” or the Patriotic Oath of the Philippines in desperation to disprove Lopez being a Filipino.
Rama, using her Twitter again, expressed in one of her recent posts that congressmen who don’t know what to ask or what they are talking about to just keep silence. She also lambasted Marcoleta and his “delaying tactics”.
She even furthered people should know by now who to vote next election. Annabelle wrote, “Malapit na election alam nyo na kung sino ang iboboto nyo.Nakakatawa kayo Ha ha ha..bwesssssit!”
Congressman Barzaga also got called out for asking the same questions he asked last hearing. She said she’s rather have Cong. Rufus Rodriguez because he was so clear in explaining the matter about citizenship. He is a former immigration commissioner and hours have been wasted to nonsense questions.
