ABS-CBN Logo Chosen By Pastry Chef in Tacloban As Design for Birthday Cake

PASTRY CHEF – A chef in Tacloban City baked a birthday cake that is inspired by the logo of the ABS-CBN network.

The ABS-CBN network is facing a lot of issues now surrounding its expired franchise. One of the issues is the citizenship of its chairman emeritus, Gabby Lopez III.

Several hearings were already held in line with the franchise of the network. It was attended by ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak and, in the latest congressional hearing for its franchise, Lopez also joined the discussion.

Currently, broadcasting part of the ABS-CBN network is on off-air. It was in line with the Cease and Desist Order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) over the franchise issues.

The ABS-CBN has previously expressed the possibility of terminating some of its employees as it is losing a huge amount of money daily while it is on off-air. Katigbak stressed that they wanted to protect their employees but there is also a limit to what the company can do.

The Kapamilya network going off-air elicited different reactions from the people. Some believe that it must really be that way while its franchise is not renewed while others are saddened to what is happening now. Undeniably, many expressed their support to the network.

One of those who stand with ABS-CBN is Mark Anthony Broñola, a pastry chef in Tacloban City according to a report. To express his support, he chose the network’s logo as the design for his birthday cake.

The pastry chef is celebrating his 30th birthday. Here is a photo of the ABS-CBN logo-inspired birthday cake he baked:
