SHARON CUNETA – One of the well-loved ABS-CBN veteran stars Sharon Cuneta has this post about the person who does not want ABS-CBN network to be renewed.
It has been a month now since the biggest media company in the Philippines, ABS-CBN Network, has shut down. This is after complying to the cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
The higher ups of the network have faced several hearings already to have another 25-year legislative franchise to allow them to operate again. There were several issues tackled coming from their taxes down to the dual citizenship of ABS-CBN chairman emeritus Gabby Lopez.
However, all of these issues have been addressed already and was clarified. With this, Megastar Sharon Cuneta has this post as “patama” to those who does not want the network to be renewed. She stressed that all controversies have been addressed already and that they just tackle the same matters again and again.
She suspected that there could be someone behind these prolonged process. To her, Lopez didn’t do anything to violate a certain law. Everything is clear and transparent.
“Nakakalungkot. Eh baka kung mag-guest na lang sila sa ASAP o SHOWTIME bak naibalik ang DOS sa ere ay di na nila kailanganin magpasiklaban sa hearing at sisikat na sila,” she added. Many people agreed to her statement and who also expressed their longing for the network to return airing.
