PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect Eastern Part Of Visayas And Mindanao This June 4, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 4, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the warm winds from the east or easterlies will; affect the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao on Thursday.

According to GMA News, a Low Pressure Area or LPA was last spotted at around 510 kilometers east of Basco town, Batanes or 595 kilometers east of Calayan town in Cagayan.

The easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, extreme northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving southwestward with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:26 AM and is expected to set at 6:23 PM.
