Police Destroy Medical Supplies In Asheville During Protests
POLICE DESTROY MEDICAL SUPPLIES – During one of the protests over the death of George Floyd in Asheville, NC, police were seen destroying medical supplies.
This caused massive plastic waste outside of a Farm Burger. But, why would the police do this? Some netizens suggested that the police were displaying power over the protesters.
As the protests begin in some states, people have left water bottles for people who support the cause. Along with this, some businesses also left out much needed medical supplies for injured protesters.
According to others, the police may have planned to deprive people of property, however, they did so without due process. Meanwhile, some say that the police were doing clean-up.
If I had to guess, cleanup. Bottled water cases are extremely bulky and heavy. If the goal is to dispose of them, it’s easier to empty them out first before trashing the plastic. It’s no less horrific to watch, however
