BACOLOD CITY – Four drug personalities were recently caught in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. on Tuesday.
According to a report from SunStar, the four drug suspects were identified by the local City Police Office (BCPO) as Leo Ledesma, aged 25, of Barangay Singcang-Airport; Peter Locsin, aged 39, of Carmela Valley, Talisay City; Mark Ybanez, aged 39, of Villa Angela Subdivision, Bacolod; and Martina Cordova, aged 21, of Barangay Villamonte.
BCPO spokesperson Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico said that they were nabbed by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of BCPO after they sold a sachet of suspected crystal meth to a poseur buyer at 4:45 AM.
Retrieved from the suspects were seven sachets of suspected shabu which weighs at about five grams with an estimated value of P46,000, marked money worth P500, and drug paraphernalia.
As per the report, they are currently detained at the Police Station 8 and will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
