P600,000 Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized in a Buy-Bust Ops in Bacolod
BACOLOD CITY – Almost P600,000 worth of illegal drugs called “shabu” was seized by authorities in separate buy-bust ops in the city.
Two suspects arrested in Araneta Stree, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City. The two allegedly escaped from a previous buy-bust operation held in Bredco Port, Barangay 2.
According to the police, the suspects were identified as alias Quad and alias Pao Pao. Shabu weighing 15 grams, which worth P212,000 were confiscated from the suspects, based on the report of ABS-CBN News.
An improvised tooter and 38 caliber revolver with two bullets was also recovered. Prior to the escape of the Quad and Pao Pao, alias Elman was initially arrested as the subject of the operation and was considered a high-value target along with alias Bogs.
The two were from Barangay Estefania and seized 31 grams of illegal drugs worth P443,000. They also obtained an improvised tooter, weighing scale, and 30 pieces of fake P100 bills that served as boodle money. According to authorities, the suspects had other associates.
Police are preparing a violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act against four. There is also an additional charge of illegal possession of firearms to deal with alias Quad.
