Biomechanical Engineer For Johns Hopkins Calls Duque “Sad Excuse” For A Health Secretary
SAD EXCUSE – A Biomechanical Engineer from Johns Hopkins called Francisco Duque III a “Sad Excuse” for a health Secretary.
The Department of Health (DOH) had received serious flack from the medical community. Previously, Senators even called for the removal of its health chief, Francisco Duque due to his “failure of leadership“.
Furthermore, Duque also received criticisms for his statements that the country was already on the “second wave” of coronavirus cases. Currently, Duque and his department are now being blasted for their latest system in report COVID-19 cases.
The Health Department had split the reporting of COVID-19 cases into two groups: “Fresh Cases” and late or “backlogged cases”. As such, the DOH claims the country is defeating the virus due to a lowered number of “fresh cases”. Moreover, they explained that the rise in cases was mostly due to “backlogged” data.
Following their confusing new system, Biochemical Engineer for John Hopkins Medicine Myles Joshua Tan stated:
“Rise in cases due to increased testing” is very different from “Rise in the DETECTION of cases due to increased testing.”
The former statement puts the blame on testing for the rise in number. Testing for COVID-19 will NOT give you COVID-19. The latter paints a more accurate picture.
The fact that the majority of positive cases reported per day are reported late (i.e. are backlogs) should not make us feel any safer.
It should alarm us even more because of the very fact that you could be days dead before being diagnosed with the disease.
Afterward, he made a correction to the headline released by the Department of Health regarding the new reporting system.
Yet another flop from the sad excuse for a health secretary that is the dimwitted Francisco Duque III, and his bandwagon of circus clowns.
But, despite his criticisms for Duque as a Health Secretary, he did applaud him for being a great “sci-fi director”.
