Flying Extraordinary Insects Swarm in Talisay, Cebu Shocked Netizens
CEBU CITY – Flying extraordinary insects swarm at the city of Talisay, Cebu caught in camera and shocked netizens online.
In the Facebook post of a shocked netizen named Ann Myril Chua Tiu, she shared video footage of insects flying in the parking area in Talisay. According to her, she’s unfamiliar with what kind of species are these flying insects.
The chief of the city disaster risk reduction, Alvin Santillana, said that the incident was just a “natural phenomenon.” The chief also that this is not the first time, the swarm had already reported earlier before this incident.
The CDRRMO chief added, they had nothing to do regarding to the incident because it is a natural phenomenon and if they attempt to stop the swam using insecticides, this may cause unexpected effects, based on the report of Balitang Amianan. He also said to leave it alone claiming that maybe it has a role in the chain of life.
The unidentified insect soon left few hours after the swarm. Meanwhile, the video footage uploaded by Tiu went viral on social media as many netizens were shocked and express various reactions.
