Manila Councilor Pens Message to Cops to Arrest His 2 Drug Addict Children
Two children were raised by a councilor in Manila along with 4 others were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tondo, Manila Friday.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), authorities conducted a buy-bust operation in which the siblings were arrested at their home in Barangay 19, allegedly a drug den. The suspects were identified as alias Jane, 27, and alias Atan, 33, both children of a councilor in Manila.
Those arrested include Jane’s live-in partner and 3 others. According to the report of GMA News, the father of the suspect who was the councilor of Manila wrote to the Manila Police District and the barangay on May 6 to have her children arrested for being involved in the illegal drug trade.
He said he does not condone the illegal activities of his children. In the letter send to the police showed by Super Radyo’s DZBB, Manila 1st District Councilor Jesus “Taga” Fajardo said he have been informed that his kids were involved in a drug den near their home.
Fajardo said he gives his full consent for the authorities to raid and arrest people in the said drug den near them. In the ensuing police conducted in the area the two children were already arrested.
