Mother in Camarines Norte Ends 3 Kids’ Life as She Assumes She’s Infected of COVID-19
CAMARINES NORTE – A young mother killed her 3 kids as she assumes that she’s been infected with coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a report of RMN, the 28-year-old mother, Joan Magiatrado, was allegedly suffering from post-partum depression. The suspect committed the crime when her husband and left them at home around 10 am.
The three children were found lifeless when the authorities came to the place of crime in Barangay Pinagwarasan, Basud, Camarines Norte. Children are 5 years old, 1-year-old, and 4 months old. They were still rushed to the hospital but later died.
The mother also attempts to end his life by stabbing itself after she killed her children. However, when authorities came she was still alive and rushed to the hospital.
The mother is currently being treated at the hospital for her right stomach wound. According to the suspect, she thought she had been hit by COVID-19 and had just decided to end his life, along with her children.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has now arrested the suspect and is preparing a case against him. The investigations into the incident are ongoing.
