PAGASA – Easterlies To Affect Most Areas In PH This May 19, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 19, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the easterlies or warm winds from the east will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the wind speed forecast, northernLuzon will have moderate winds that are moving southwestward with moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed that are moving in the south to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:27 AM and will set at about 6:18 PM.
