Qatar Airways Giving Away 100,000 Free Roundtrip Airline Tickets To Frontliners
QATAR AIRWAYS – The award-winning international cargo carrier, Qatar Airways, is offering 100,000 round-trip flight tickets to COVID-19 frontliners.
Doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers are risking their lives to take care of their patients amid the coronavirus pandemic. Some of them even died in the line of duty.
Celebrities worldwide and social media users have their own way of paying tribute to the frontliners. Some of them hold fundraising to help them fight the disease.
Based on a report from Sugbo.ph, Qatar Airways decided to give away 100,000 complimentary roundtrip tickets to all the frontliners around the world. It’s the company’s way of showing appreciation for their service amid the COVID-19 crisis and to honor the “International Nurses Day” last May 12.
The Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group, Akbar Al-Baker, said: “We at Qatar Airways are incredibly grateful for the commitment and hard work of healthcare professionals around the world who looked after people in these times of uncertainty.”
“Their heroic display of kindness, dedication, and professionalism has saved hundreds of thousands of lives around the world,” he added.
According to the report, Doctors, medical practitioners, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, lab technicians, and clinical researchers can avail of their free tickets. Healthcare professional is also qualified to these following benefits:

Based on the report, COVID-19 frontliners who want to avail of the benefits can apply through the Qatar Airway website and fill-up the form. Registration starts from May 11 until May 18. The winners of their free tickets will be announced the following day.
