Mayor Oreta Confirms Former Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta Died
Former Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta died as confirmed by her son, Malabon Mayor Antolin “Len Len” Oreta.
In the Philippine political arena, several people who wanted to serve the public share the same last names. Most of them are biologically related with each other.
One of the most popular surnames in politics is the Aquino. Former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.‘s wife, Corazon “Cory” Aquino, became President and as well as their only son, former Pres. Noynoy Aquino.
Ninoy’s sister, Tessie Aquino Oreta, was also a senator of the Republic of the Philippines. Her son, Antolin “Len Len” Oreta, is currently serving as the mayor of Malabon.
Recently, a sad news about the former Senator crossed the surface. Mayor Len Len Oreta confirmed that former Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta died at 10:48 in the evening yesterday, May 14.
Mayor Oreta posted a past photo of him and his mother. In his post, he described his mom as a “loving grandmother, mother, and wife and friend”. She died at the age of 75 years old.
Mayor Oreta asked for prayers for former Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta through his post. She has lived a life serving the country and as well as their hometown, Malabon City.
