62-year-old Lady Come Back Six Times to Get SAP Cash Aid but Failed
The poor 62-year-old lady cried after she failed to get cash aid from the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) distribution in Barangay Payatas.
A senior citizen can’t hold back her emotions and cried because she has not received any help from the government which is the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) until now. She said that her named was not included in the list of qualified beneficiaries of SAP.
In a Twitter post of DZMM TeleRadyo, the 62-year-old Nanay Cecil came back six times to get help in Barangay Payatas. She said that she is a manicurist and her job is now affected by an enhanced quarantine community (ECQ) in the country, even though her husband has also lost his job.
“Tapos ‘yung iba na ngayon lang kumuha, ngayon din nakakuha. Unfair naman ‘yun sa mga naghihintay, naapektuhan ang trabaho, ‘di ba?” said Nanay Cecil in the video.
“Kaya nga nakakasama ng loob. May paupahan, may pension, nakakuha. Sa katulad naming isang kahig isang tuka, wala? ‘Di ba? Masakit sa kalooban namin,” she added.
In our previous article, a 94-year-old elderly woman also failed to get cash assistance from the Social Amelioration Program of government after she tries to apply. The elder woman who lives alone has been forced to go outside in order to obtain a form of (SAP), but the senior came home disappointed.
