Unconscious Homeless Man Helped by Kind Grab Rider
A kind Grab rider helped an unconscious homeless man and takes him to the hospital and paid for the latter’s hospital bills.
Grab food services have been very popular in different countries all around the world for giving a good and quality service to the public. The company offers food delivery services wherein riders will initially pay for the food and will be eventually reimbursed by the customers.
Grab food riders have earned the sympathy of the online community after some heartless customers canceled their orders although the foods are already purchased and some were making fake bookings.
Recently, a Grab food rider identified as Shanker Vellu showed an act of kindness towards an unconscious homeless man lying on the street near Segambut LRT station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Shanker notice the homeless man lying on the street while he is driving and decided to check the old man. The man can still speak and told him that he was living all alone in Desa Jaya area.
The delivery worker gives some cash to the old man and leave but he continues to think about the homeless grandpa. He returned to the station and found the man lying again and called an ambulance to bring him to the hospital.
“I called for an ambulance and at that moment another concerned lady stopped by to give the man much-needed food and money. I proceeded to follow the ambulance to HKL and helped out with the uncle’s registration at the healthcare facility,” Shanker said.
