Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu breaks silence on her trending statement during a recent FB Live discussion with fellow stars from ABS-CBN.
Kim was one of the Kapamilya stars who spoke about the decision of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to shut down the operation of ABS-CBN. With her emotions rising as she was speaking against the decision, the actress cited an example regarding the law.
“Sa classroom may batas, bawal lumabas, oh bawal lumabas. Pero ‘pag sinabi, ‘pag nag-comply ka na bawal na lumabas pero may ginawa ka sa pinagbabawal nila, inayos mo ‘yong law ng classroom niyo at sinumbit mo ulit ay pwede na pala ikaw lumabas,” she said.
This statement from the Chinita Princess received various reactions from netizens but mostly they poked fun at it. Some even created memes about this while some vocally commented, based on the previous report, that what she said was incomprehensible.
In line with this, Kim Chiu breaks silence. She said in her recent Twitter post that she was surprised when her name was trending on the micro-blogging site.
“Hahaha nagising ako na trending na pala ako! Okay po. Hahah natawa nalang ako sa sinabi kong about classroom. Nadala lang ng emosyon. Sensya na,” she wrote.
She also retweeted a netizen’s post who said, “Naguluhan ako @prinsesachinita. Pakiexplain ulit samin.” Kim said that she herself also got confused. Despite the bashing that she received, her fans continue to show support.
