Xian Lim talked about the trending statement of Kim Chiu
Kapamilya actor Xian Lim reacted to the critics of his girlfriend Kim Chiu after the latter’s trending statement regarding the ABS-CBN franchise issue.
Kim was one of the brave Kapamilya stars who spoke online in order to defend their home network after the National Telecommunications Commission issued the ceased and desist order against ABS-CBN.
However, the Chinita Princess received criticisms for what she said, especially when she cited something about the law in a classroom. Because of that, memes were created and the actress was bashed.
In line with that, Kim broke her silence based on a previous report. She said that she was carried away by her emotion and she herself could not fully understand that part of her statement.
Just recently, Kim’s boyfriend Xian Lim also shared his two cents regarding the criticisms that the actress has been receiving. The actor said that his girlfriend “does not deserve to be singled out and [gets] all the hate she is getting from people [on] the internet.”
Xian described Kim as someone who is “smart, empathetic person who deeply cares for all the people around her.” According to him, her girlfriend cares so much and that is what scares him.
“We are not perfect. No one is. We have our share of mishaps that shake us down to the ground but we learn and we rise back up again,” the actor added.
He also said that his love and support go out to Kim as for him she is a wonderful person. Xian Lim also called out to the public to stop the hate and just find ways to help each other amid the crisis.
“We have little time in our hands. It’s really a matter of asking yourself how well you want to be remembered when your time is up,” he added.
