Frankie Pangilinan Offers Mom Sharon Cuneta Job After ABS-CBN Shutdown

SHARON CUNETA – Filipina actress and singer Sharon Cuneta got a job offer from her daughter Frankie Pangilinan after the ABS-CBN shutdown.

The Kapamilya network went off the air on Tuesday, May 5 following the issuance of cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). Congress hasn’t tackled the franchise issue of the largest tv network in the Philippines.

In a previous article, Megastar Sharon Cuneta broke down in tears after her tv network for 30 years went off the air. She aired her concern over the job security of thousands of employees.

Sharon Cuneta was among the celebrities who asked for the government to reconsider its closure orders against ABS-CBN. “There are tens and thousands of employees who are gonna lose their jobs. And I cannot take that,” she said.

On Wednesday, May 6, her daughter Frankie Pangilinan Tweeted something for her mom. She jokingly said she’s about to hire her mother as an intern since her company just shut down.

“about to hire shawie as my intern since she needs the work,” she wrote.

Sharon Cuneta was quick to reply to Frankie’s Tweet. She accepted her “job offer” but she will not accept the salary. The veteran actress joked that she’s the only intern who can finance all the projects of her boss.

“Yes please! Gimme stuff to do and you won’t have to pay me! In fact, why do I get the feeling that I might be the only intern in the world who will fund her boss’ projects?! I love you! Please gimme a JOB!” Sharon wrote.

Frankie replied: “whoa there overachiever haha chill kid work ur way up the ladder”
