PAGASA Forecasted Thunderstorms Over Metro Manila
THUNDERSTORMS – Following the high heat index in the past days, PAGASA forecasted thunderstorms over Metro Manila within 12 hours.
Yesterday, PAGASA reported a high heat index of 43 degrees Celsius. But, within the next few hours, residents of Metro Manila could expect thunderstorms with rain showers.
A thunderstorm is MORE LIKELY to develop over NationalCapitalRegion within 12 hours. All are advised to continue monitoring for updates.
Meanwhile, a thunderstorm advisory was also posted by the weather bureau for Zambales, Bataan, and Pampanga on May 9. Furthermore, PAGASA said the public is advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts of the hazards brought by the thunderstorm.
Thunderstorms are localized storms accompanied by lightning and thunder. Along with this, thunderstorms also bring gusty winds and heavy rains. Stay tuned for more updates.
