2 Community Volunteers for Asking P500 from SAP Beneficiaries Criticized by Angry Barangay Captain
A certain barangay captain lambasted the two community volunteers who were allegedly asking P500 from SAP beneficiaries.
Over the past few weeks, the local government units have been very busy distributing the social amelioration cash to poor families. However, there are some families who failed to receive cash aid.
There are also some residents complaining that barangay and local officials were allegedly doing anomalies and irregularities regarding the distribution of SAP’s financial assistance.
A Twitter user named Luisito Santos has shared the video footage of a barangay captain scolding two community volunteers who were allegedly extorting an amount of P500 from the beneficiaries of SAP cash aid.
In the video, it can be seen that the barangay official is criticizing the volunteers for asking a certain amount of cash from the SAP beneficiaries in Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City. The volunteers were speechless during the interrogation.
