Michael Buble Fulfills Grandfather’s Dying Wish by Giving House to A Filipina
MICHAEL BUBLE – Superstar Michael Buble fulfilled his grandfather’s dying wish by giving a house to a Filipina.
There are a lot of reasons why foreign employer prefers hiring Filipinos. In the Philippines, overseas Filipino workers (OFW) are considered as the new heroes because they send billions on pesos in remittances to the country.
They are doing their best to endure the hardships of working abroad just to provide the needs of their family. Recently, a female OFW made rounds on social media after receiving a house from a famous singer.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, superstar Michael Buble gifted a Filipina a gorgeous house as part of his grandfather’s dying wish. The Pinay worked for his grandfather Demetrio for 8 years.
The singer renovated the home of his granddad in Canada so the Minette won’t have to pay rent anymore. He said, “I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that we could maybe lessen the burden a little bit in allowing Minette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her.”
According to the report, Michael Buble disclosed that the Filipina sent most of her salary to her family in the Philippines. The ‘Home‘ singer described Minette as “really compassionate, kind empathetic human being with a great sense of humor, a great zest for life, who sort of never did anything for herself.”
The 44-year-old singer said his granddad built the house in Canada “with his own two hands.” Michael said the property is very close to his heart because its where he “learned and the style of music I fell in love with, they all happened there.” But he decided to give it to the Pinay because his grandfather hopes that she could live in it.
