Here’s Some Updates On Miss Universe Philippines First-Ever Solo Edition
MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES – Here are some updates on Miss Universe Philippine’s first-ever solo edition.
The Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) franchise is no longer part of the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BCPI). The national director of MUP organization is Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup.
MUP has been gearing up for the prestigious pageant that was scheduled to take place on May 3, 2020, at the Mall of Asia Arena. But due to the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic, the first-ever solo edition was put on hold.
On Tuesday, May 5, Miss Universe Philippines Organization created a question and answer presser and shared its answers on its Facebook Page. They announced that it’s the first-ever pageant was moved to October.
MUP and its delegates will have to step back amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Shamcey Supsup said beautiful and positive Pinay delegates are doing what they can to help amid pandemic.
The creative director of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization, Jonas Gaffud, revealed that there’s a great chance that Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown one of the winners.
He also promised that the coronation night will be one of a kind. “The theme, the colors, and the interviews will be very interesting, to say the least. Not to be coy, but all I can say is we will give you a SHOW unlike anything you have seen before,” he said.
