It is the largest entertainment and media conglomerate in terms of revenue, operating income, net income, assets, equity, market capitalization, and number of employees.
The name ABS-CBN was formed after the merging of Alto Broadcasting System (ABS) and Chronicle Broadcasting Network (CBN). Many people supported NTC’s decision to order ABS-CBN go off air for they believed in Dura Lex Sed Lex but other people pushed “Salus populi est supreme lex” which means “Let the good of the people be the supreme law.”
