According to an article from CNN, Manila Police District Director General Rolando Miranda said that all of the said violators already gone through inquest proceedings and were taken to temporary holding facilities after the 48-hour lockdown implemented in the area which began on Sunday 5 AM.

“Ang physical distancing ay ating pinatutupad at ako personally nag-i-inspection sa temporary holding facilities to ensure that this protocol is being observed by police officers,”

The said district also has nine temporary holding facilities for violators as the 2-day lockdown is in effect until early morning May 5.

Those who are minors and persons with disabilities (PWDs), they will be sent home by the cops, Miranda added, saying that there will also be attending physicians for those with other medical conditions.

“With an almost 800,000 population sa Tondo District 1, 204 lang ang nahuli na violators. Napakaliit na porsyento at nagpapatunay pa rin na disiplinado ang mga taga-Tondo,”

As per the report, the Manila government said that it began its testing efforts among suspected cases in the said district amid its closure.

City mayor Isko Moreno said that there are about a thousand residents in the district who were tested on Sunday morning. They also tested about 854 individuals in the Sampaloc district.

Sampaloc was also placed under hard lockdown due to the rising COVID-19 cases. Furthermore, there are about 157 violators were arrested in the district.
